I'm a Maryland native, a big Ravens fan, and I love love love my little "Smalltimore Baltimore"! I'm fun-loving and spontaneous with a fast & furious shooting style! I can hold my own against your crazy groomsmen & their jokes, and I'll feel like I'm BFF with you & your bridesmaids by the end of the day! I have a newfound love for gardening & in addition to all the vegetables, I've been growing Ranunculus, Anemones, and Garden Roses to pretty up my patio! I spend most of my free time volunteering as a photographer/dog walker at my local animal shelter - BARCS, and the hubs is never surprised when I come home with a new foster dog!
I started out taking a photography class in junior high school, and ended up minoring in Photography at Towson U. I worked at Ritz Camera in college to fund my printing habit! After I got married, my own wedding photographers allowed me to shoot weddings with them, which gave me the opportunity to learn the wedding world w/o the pressure of my own clients. After that, I decided to take the leap & start my own business in 2010!
Capturing the moments, the big ones you will remember, and the little ones that you won't until you see the photograph, all contribute to telling a whole story.
My favorite clients are the ones who are willing to take small (or big!) risks to get amazing images. So let the dress get dirty. Let your hair blow in the wind. And don't you worry about what to do with your hands....jazz hands are always the answer ;)
Puppy snuggles are the best, and I keep my supply fresh by fostering dogs for BARCS Animal Shelter! I also adore my 'dogter' Lily Rosé - our 20th foster dog, who we couldn't let go of & adopted for ourselves!
Blech! If a pickle even touches my sandwich, I won't eat that part! The hubs thinks its hilarious to drink pickle juice out of the jar & then kiss me....
I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list! I love to see new places & eat all the foods! And take a few pics while I'm there! Some recent places I've visited: Nicaragua, Mallorca, Croatia, Malta, Turkey, Spain, Portugal, Colombia, Budapest, Prague, Vienna, St. Maarten, Iceland
I will drink pretty much any kind of wine in any format - in a screwtop, in a box, out of a can. But never the 'buttery, oaky' chardonnay!
blech.
My sister & I recently bought our own inflatable Stand-Up Paddle boards, and we love spending time paddling out on the water together!
I really don't like my foods to touch each other on my plate! If they do touch, I probably won't eat the intersecting parts.
I'm so lucky to have been married to my best friend since 2007! We share silly jokes, speak the same language, complement each other's tastes, enjoy the same special places, and we love each other hard.
I'll vacuum or mop or clean a toilet...but I just do not like doing dishes! Thank goodness I have a hubs who always does them for us!
I can't deal with standing in lines. At a store, I will put things down & walk right out if I have to wait more than 2 people to check out.
If I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life, hands down, it would be tacos! Every day can be taco night, as far as I'm concerned!
